Summer Solstice Celebration: Embracing the Power of Nature

Welcome to our blog post, dear friends of the OAD (Ordo Aureorum Draconum) community, as we gather to celebrate the Summer Solstice, also known as Midsummer. This ancient and sacred festival marks the pinnacle of the Sun's power and the longest day of the year. It is a time of joy, abundance, and deep connection with the natural world around us. As the sun reaches its zenith in the sky, we come together to honor the cycles of nature and pay homage to the energy and life-giving force that the Sun represents with all the known aspects and all the known sungods that we worship. My personal favourite one is Lord Apollon, but there are many other names and aspects we can call our golden protector and the source of life giving enery. Midsummer holds a special place in our hearts, as we celebrate the power of light and the abundant blessings it brings.
