The spiritual nature of money

Image
Many of you have asked me to share my own experiences with the spiritual role of money.   Definition of Money:  Money is a commodity accepted by general consent as a medium of economic exchange. It is the medium in which prices and values are expressed. It circulates from person to person and country to country, facilitating trade, and it is the principal measure of wealth. Bartering and economic exchange is ancient. The Romans valued salt so highly that our word 'salary' is derived from the latin word for salt / sal / salarium Charles Eisenstein wrote a book 'Sacred Economics' in 2011, which has become a classic. See:  https://www.socioeco.org/bdf_ fiche-publication-644_en.html "Sacred Economics traces the history of money from ancient gift economies to modern capitalism, revealing how the money system has contributed to alienation, competition, and scarcity, destroyed community, and necessitated endless growth. Today, these trends have reached their extreme—but...

Summer Solstice Celebration: Embracing the Power of Nature

Image
Welcome to our blog post, dear friends of the OAD (Ordo Aureorum Draconum) community, as we gather to celebrate the Summer Solstice, also known as Midsummer. This ancient and sacred festival marks the pinnacle of the Sun's power and the longest day of the year. It is a time of joy, abundance, and deep connection with the natural world around us. As the sun reaches its zenith in the sky, we come together to honor the cycles of nature and pay homage to the energy and life-giving force that the Sun represents with all the known aspects and all the known sungods that we worship. My personal favourite one is Lord Apollon, but there are many other names and aspects we can call our golden protector and the source of life giving enery. Midsummer holds a special place in our hearts, as we celebrate the power of light and the abundant blessings it brings. In our modern lives, it's easy to become disconnected from the rhythms of nature. The Summer Solstice offers us a precious opportunit...

Recharging meditaion - connection with Nature

Image
Find yourself a peaceful place where the symphony of elements unfolds before you. Let the gentle breeze caress your skin, let the earth beneath your feet ground you, and let the warm rays of the sun embrace your being. Let's embark on a meditation together that connects your soul with the energies of nature. Step one: Find the right place and position. Find a quiet place, preferably on the ground, where you can sit cross-legged or find any comfortable position. Close your eyes gently, allowing yourself to merge into the present moment. Step two: Conscious breathing. Take a deep breath in through your nose, allowing the air to fill your lungs completely. Feel the expansion of your chest and abdomen. Hold the breath for a few seconds, then slowly exhale through your mouth, feeling any tension or stress leaving your body. Repeat this deep breathing cycle several times until you reach a relaxed and centered state. Sensory immersion: Gradually become aware of your surroundings. Feel ...

No Trash!!!

Image
Hi All,  long time since we last logged in. This is a new awarness type of post prompted by our new youngling and new initiative of environment protection activist: Amunet. Please, read her thoughts below.  We'll soon update you all with excellent news, and a few new initiatives that we hope you all are going to enjoy and support! Littering is a problem that affects not only the appearance of our communities but also the health of our environment. It can be defined as the act of disposing of waste improperly, such as throwing trash on the ground or out of a car window. In this blog post, we will discuss the importance of not littering and the impact it can have on our surroundings. One of the primary reasons why littering is so detrimental is that it can harm wildlife. Animals may mistake litter for food, which can lead to health problems or even death. For example, birds can get entangled in plastic bags or six-pack rings, while marine animals can ingest plastic, causin...
