Interview with Nera, a Novice Wiccan

Witchcraft has always captivated the human imagination, filled with mysticism and ancient wisdom. How do 21st-century practitioners experience ancient principles, and what does this lifestyle mean to them? We sought answers to these questions with the help of Nera, who follows the path of Novicius Wicca and has already absorbed the foundations of nature religion. In the conversation, we can gain insight into her experiences, as well as the mysteries of self-knowledge and the power of nature.

The Path to the Coven

Q: How did you find the Wotan Coven, and why did you decide to join?

N: My intuition led me to it, which has never let me down. I constantly acted by following it.

Q: Would you tell us what attracted you to the community and how you felt during the first steps?

N: I had already established a connection with the ancestral elements before I specifically belonged to the community. I feel this is the start of a wonderful journey.

Q: What was it like to attend the coven's first gathering? Was there any ritual, teaching material, practice, or ceremony that had a particularly deep impact on you?

N: It was interesting to experience for the first time what it's like to work with the power of a community, how differently energies work when they are experienced not at an individual but at a coven level.

Q: Do you think Perfect Love and Perfect Trust can be realized in 2025 as well, or is this a thing of the past?

N: Of course it can be realized. Why wouldn't it be?

Living the Principle of "Do what you will, so long as it harms none"

Q: What does the warning mean to you?

N: It means that responsibility for our actions is more important than a set of rules to follow.

Q: Do you feel this principle is in harmony with your personal moral views?

N: Yes, because everyone has to decide for themselves what is right or wrong.

Q: Why is this principle important in witchcraft?

N: It’s so that we handle karmic repercussions responsibly.

 The Secret of Witchcraft

Q: What makes someone a true witch?

N: Connection with nature, continuous learning, following the guidance of the elders and the warning.

Q: Do you think it's inherited ability, conscious choice or an inner call that leads to this path?

N: An inner call. I believe that the soul finds its place.

First Experiences and Changes

Q: What would you recommend to other seekers before they join a coven?

N: Be sure in mastering and valuing Perfect Trust and Perfect Love.

Closure

Witchcraft, as a way of life, is not just about rituals and ceremonies. As Nera says, a close connection to nature, continuous learning, and the guiding role of the warning make a true witch. This path is not just about mysticism, but about self-knowledge, responsibility, and the power of community. Nera's story can be an inspiration for all those seeking new spiritual paths or simply interested in witchcraft. What new horizons will those who embark on this path open up? That's up to us.
