🐶 How to Communicate with Dogs

Image
🐶 How to Communicate with Dogs 🐾 How Dogs Act When They Want Something To speak with a dog and understand it, you need to learn their body language. Dogs are quite intelligent. For example, if your dog—or any dog—comes to you, it might not just mean they want to play. They could be hungry, thirsty, or want to go outside. The way to figure it out is simple: just ask. Dogs do understand you, especially when you say their name. For example, if your dog is thirsty, you might ask, “Muffin, are you thirsty?” If Muffin wags her tail and walks to her bowl, that’s a yes. Sometimes, dogs will even make a sound with their bowl to let you know. If your dog wants to go outside, they might come to you wagging their tail quickly. This usually means they’re excited or happy. Some dogs might even smile or spin in circles. If you ask, “Do you want to go out?” and they wag their tail and run to the door, that’s a clear yes. If they don’t respond or walk away, they probably don’t want to go out. When a ...

Friday The 13th

Image
The Mystique of Friday the 13th: A Cultural Exploration The 13th day of the month that falls on a Friday has long been synonymous with superstition and fear, often viewed as a day of bad luck. This intriguing blend of numerology and cultural folklore makes it an exciting topic for exploration. The Origins of Fear The number 13 has been considered unlucky for centuries, with various theories attempting to explain why this is so. One significant explanation dates back to ancient mythology; for instance, in Norse mythology, a banquet of 12 gods was interrupted by the trickster Loki, who killed Balder, the god of light. This led to the belief that the presence of 13 guests is an ominous sign. Similarly, Friday as an unlucky day may stem from religious beliefs. Some Christians believe that Friday is a day of bad fortune because it is said to be the day Christ was crucified. Together, these two views create a cultural phenomenon that makes Friday the 13th particularly unsettling. Moder...

Aura- Human Energy field

Image
In order to talk about energy protection, it is essential to study the characteristics of the energy field of the entity we wish to protect. The aura refers to the electromagnetic field surrounding individual beings. Its vibrations can be high or low. The frequency of the human energy field varies individually and depends on a person's emotions, thoughts, and both mental and physical health. The different vibrational levels of the aura can be distinctly perceived and, when associated with color perception (whether through third-eye vision or association), can be differentiated. We associate different types of energies with different colors, which our minds represent as colors. We call it auric vision because, complemented by visualization techniques, it can present a real colorful image. The so-called chakras are found in the aura. The word comes from the Sanskrit word meaning "wheel." Their main role is to transfor...

Everything of Poseidon, and more

Image
Poseidon: The Unpredictable King of the Seas Poseidon: The Unpredictable King of the Seas "I am the Earth-Shaker, the Lord of the Waves!" Origins: Born From Chaos Poseidon is one of the most renowned Olympian gods, though his beginnings were far from glorious. His father, Cronus, feared that one of his offspring would usurp his power, so he swallowed Poseidon and his siblings – Hades, Hestia, Demeter, and Hera – immediately after their birth. Fortunately, the youngest sibling, Zeus, survived and later orchestrated their release by tricking Cronus into regurgitating them. This brave act paved the way for the epic Titanomachy, a ten-year war that ultimately led to the rise of the Olympians. In the aftermath, Zeus divided the realms among the three mightiest gods, claiming the heavens for himself, the underworld for Hades, and entrusting the vast, mysterious seas to Poseidon. Poseidon's Powers: More T...

Interview with Nera, a Novice Wiccan

Image
Witchcraft has always captivated the human imagination, filled with mysticism and ancient wisdom. How do 21st-century practitioners experience ancient principles, and what does this lifestyle mean to them? We sought answers to these questions with the help of Nera, who follows the path of Novicius Wicca and has already absorbed the foundations of nature religion. In the conversation, we can gain insight into her experiences, as well as the mysteries of self-knowledge and the power of nature. The Path to the Coven Q: How did you find the Wotan Coven, and why did you decide to join? N: My intuition led me to it, which has never let me down. I constantly acted by following it.   Q: Would you tell us what attracted you to the community and how you felt during the first steps? N: I had already established a connection with the ancestral elements before I specifically belonged to the community. I feel this is the start of a wonderful journey.   Q: What was it like to atten...

Ostara Vs Easter

Image
Ostara vs. Easter: Exploring the Parallels and Distinctions Ostara vs. Easter: Exploring the Parallels and Distinctions As the days grow longer and the chill of winter fades away, many cultures celebrate the arrival of spring with festivals that honor renewal, rebirth, and fertility. Two of the most notable celebrations during this season are Ostara, rooted in ancient pagan traditions, and Easter, a significant holiday in Christianity. While they originate from different backgrounds, Ostara and Easter share remarkable similarities that highlight the ways in which cultural practices can intersect and evolve over time. Understanding Ostara Ostara is a spring festival celebrated in various neo-pagan traditions, particularly within Wicca. It typically falls on or around March 21, coinciding with the spring equinox, when day and night are of equal length. Named after the Germanic goddess Eostre, Ostara symbolizes fertility, new beginni...

Happy Ostara - 2025!

Ostara: The Celebration of Spring Ostara, also known as the Spring Equinox, is a significant celebration in pagan and Wiccan traditions. This festival is held on March 20th or 21st, marking the time when day and night are of equal length. Ostara is a period of fertility, rebirth, and renewal, celebrating the awakening of nature. The History of the Celebration The name Ostara is derived from Eostre or Eastre, the Germanic goddess of spring dawn. The traditions of this festival have been present in many cultures over time and share numerous parallels with the Christian celebration of Easter. The Spring Equinox is one of the most vital points in the cycle of life, where darkness and light are balanced, and the rejuvenation of nature begins. The Wheel of the Year Ostara is one of the spokes in the Wheel of the Year, which represents the annual cycle in pagan and Wiccan traditions. The Wheel of the Year consists of eight major festivals that follow the changes in nature. These festivals inc...

Embracing the true Spirit of Yule

Image
As the wheel of the year turns and we find ourselves once more at the threshold of Yule, it is a time for reflection, celebration, and connection. Yule, the ancient festival marking the winter solstice, is a moment to honor the return of the light and to embrace the warmth of our communities and loved ones. In today's world, it's easy to be swept up in the commercial frenzy that often accompanies the holiday season. Stores and advertisements bombard us with messages urging us to buy more, spend more, and equate our worth with the monetary value of gifts exchanged. However, as pagans, we understand that the essence of Yule goes far deeper than material possessions. The Light Within and Around Us Yule is a celebration of the rebirth of the Sun. As the longest night of the year gives way to the increasing daylight, we are reminded of the light within each of us and the potential for renewal and growth. It is a time to rekindle our inner fire, to reflect on the past year, and to se...

Celebrations around 1st November on planet Earth

Image
October 31 and November 1 are not only significant dates on the calendar but also hold special meanings for various cultures and religions. In this blog post, we'll explore the celebrations around these dates worldwide, diving into their historical traditions and meanings. Halloween (October 31) Origins and Historical Traditions Halloween traces its roots back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, marking the beginning of the dark winter season. People believed that on this night, the spirits of the dead returned to Earth. The Celts lit bonfires and wore costumes to ward off roaming spirits. Modern Customs Today, Halloween is widely celebrated in the United States and Europe, where children dress up in costumes and go trick-or-treating. Carved pumpkins, known as jack-o'-lanterns, are also a popular symbol of the holiday. All Saints' Day (November 1) Origins and Historical Traditions All Saints' Day, or All Hallows' Day, is a Christian holiday honoring all sain...

Let's go back to Nature, even in spring, for our health

Image
I'd like to write about a few plants and their uses. I didn't want to give a general description or just throw around well-known medicinal properties. The application of wild edible and medicinal plants is not as straightforward as one might think. For example, if someone has a circulatory disorder or high blood pressure, it's not guaranteed that the first supposedly suitable medicinal herb we encounter will have an effect on it. It matters how a medicinal herb acts, when we take them, how we process it, how we prepare the medicinal product from them, when we consume them, and even how our own body reacts to them. I want to write about plants that affect me this spring, and share my tried and true methods and recipes. Dandelion - syrup and cordial It's a common plant often regarded as a weed. Most people would pull out every single one of them from the ground. Few know that it's an extremely valuable medicinal and wild edible plant, which is also an important nectar...

Embracing Spring Equinox: A Time of Renewal and Balance

Image
Dear Friends, Brothers and Sisters, As the wheel of the year turns once more, we find ourselves at the threshold of Spring Equinox. This celestial event, also known as Ostara in the Pagan calendar, is a time of balance and renewal, a moment when day and night stand in perfect equilibrium. As we bid farewell to the long, introspective nights of winter, we welcome the burgeoning light of spring. The earth around us stirs from its slumber, echoing our own awakening. Trees begin to bud, flowers push their way through the thawing soil, and the animal kingdom emerges from hibernation, their songs filling the air. The Spring Equinox is a time to honor the divine balance in our lives and in the world around us. It's a time to cleanse and release the old to make way for new beginnings, mirroring nature's cycle of death and rebirth. As we stand at this seasonal crossroads, let's take a moment to reflect on our own paths. What do we need to let go of? What new seeds do we wish to pla...

New Year’s Greetings from the Order of the Golden Dragons

Image
Hello, dear readers and fellow pagans. As the year 2023 comes to an end, we would like to wish you all a blessed and prosperous new year. We hope that you have enjoyed our posts and events throughout the year, and have found inspiration and guidance in your spiritual journey. We are a group of eclectic and creative spiritual path seekers who draw upon the wisdom and traditions of various esoteric systems, such as Hermeticism, Thelema, Qabalah, Tarot, Astrology, Wicca and more. We believe that magic is a natural and empowering force that can be used for personal growth, healing, and transformation. One of our main goals is to celebrate and honor the cycles of nature and the seasons, as well as the deities and spirits that dwell in them. That is why we observe the eight sabbats of the Wheel of the Year, which mark the solstices, equinoxes, and cross-quarter days. These are special occasions for us to connect with the energies and mysteries of the cosmos, and to perform rituals and ceremo...
